Salzburg Meeting
Posted: 29 Apr 2013 by Cheryl Hepfer
We are all looking forward to the European Chapter Meeting in Salzburg next month. Alfred Kriegler has gone to great lengths to assure that we will have a wonderful time in this historical town, renowned for its beautiful scenery and culture.
The meeting program will include a very interesting educational programme and many activities for the Fellows and their guests. Beginning with the welcome reception in the Winter Garden of the Sacher Hotel, we will have a chance to meet our new members and welcome them into our organization. We are delighted that so many first timers will be attending this meeting, and our wonderful outreach committee will assure that each of them is involved in every aspect of the meeting. Although our educational programmes are always first rate, it’s our collegiality that makes the IAML so important to those of us who attend the meetings.
Our committees will also be hard at work. Although we are only able to get together a few times during the year, our hard-working committees continue to accomplish their goals by way of emails and telephone conferences. Over the next few months, I intend to highlight some of the goals, hard work and achievements of these committees in future blogs.
