Meeting Hotel   

The IAFL has reserved a limited number of rooms for the nights of 19 – 24 May 2025 at the Swissôtel The Bhosphorus at the following rates per room per night (subject to availability):

19 & 20 May:

Single occupancy: €320
Double occupancy: €340

21 – 24 May (inclusive):

Single occupancy: €360
Double occupancy: €380

Rates include breakfast but exclude VAT (currently 10%), city tax (2%) and stamp duty (1%)

Due to the conditions imposed by the Swissôtel, to avail of these special rates, your hotel booking must be made through an agent based in Istanbul. IAFL has therefore partnered with the local agency "Kaki Kongre Yonetimi ve Turizm" (known as K2). 

Pre-Payment
At the time of booking, the full stay payment, plus all taxes will be charged to the credit card that you submit with your form.  You will receive a receipt of this payment by email and it will appear on your credit card statement as “Kaiki Kongre Yonetimi ve Turizma A.S.”

Cancellation/Amendment of your booking
You may cancel or amend your booking by emailing IAFL2025@K2-events.com If you do not receive a response within 48 hours, please telephone Michele Williams +44 1327 858216.

Penalties for full cancellation or reduction room nights
Up until 1 April 2025: No penalty
From 2 April 2025: Full-stay penalty

The full-stay penalty will also apply to no-shows (non-arrival on the day of your booking).

The IAFL is committed to expanding its reach in jurisdictions that are currently under and un-represented within its Fellowship and to making meetings more accessible to all. With these aims in mind, the IAFL is pleased to offer reduced registration fees to attendees (Fellows and Lawyer Guests) from jurisdictions that qualify for IAFL Tiered Dues.

The 30% discount only applies to those registering at the early bird rate which is available up to 7 April 2025. After this date, the regular fee will apply.

Registration Cancellation Terms and Conditions

Cancellations received in writing to iafl@judylaneics.com will be accepted until 7 April 2025 and fees refunded, less a USD 100.00 administrative fee per person. This includes social events and tours fees, but only if the Academy is not responsible for any charges or fees due to the cancellation. Registration fees for cancellations received after 7 April 2025 will not be refunded. If the IAFL is able to re-sell any cancelled social function tickets or tours to another delegate, these fees may be refunded but only after the Meeting has taken place. Please email iafl@judylaneics.com. No refunds will be made for non- attendance at the Meeting or for non-attendance at individual tours and social events. Note that registrations are unique to the individual named on the registration form and are not interchangeable or transferrable either in part or whole to another person. If in the unlikely event the Meeting is cancelled, any travel and accommodation costs will not be refunded.

Use of Delegate Data

IAFL uses conference booking and hotel booking data to answer queries, to manage and to process all registrations, to organise all social functions and to keep you updated about meeting arrangements. IAFL will not share conference booking and hotel data with anyone outside of the organisation except where necessary to deliver our services.

Photographs taken at IAFL meetings are shared with Fellows through the members area of our website. Photographs of speakers may also be used on IAFL’s website and social media.
