Candidates Requesting an Invitation to Join the Academy
Family Lawyers wishing to join the Academy are asked to give us personal information which we use to communicate with them and to review their request for invitation to join. Completed Request for Invitation forms are shared only with the relevant Chapter Board of Admissions, the Academy Board of Admissions, the Admissions Secretary and the Executive Director.
On joining the Academy, Fellows are asked to give us personal information which can then be displayed to other Fellows and to the general public if the Fellow so wishes. This information is given voluntarily and it is made clear to the Fellow which data will be publicised, which will be shared only with other fellows and which will only be used by the Academy. Information on non-practising fellows and judicial fellows is only shared with other fellows.
Website Usage Information
The IAML may also use aggregate information and statistics for the purposes of monitoring website usage in order to help us develop the website and our services and may provide such aggregate information to third parties. These statistics will not include information that can be used to identify any individual.
Corrections/Updates to Information
If your personal information changes or if you no longer wish to receive our service, please contact us at email@example.com and we will correct, update or remove your details.
