He has particular interests in international and complex cases, commonly involving offshore assets and trusts and business interests and in the construction of sophisticated financial settlements. He is a good French speaker and has extensive experience in Anglo-French cases. James is also experienced in difficult cases concerning children and pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, many of which are also of an international nature. He studied at Oxford University and lives in London.
