The focus of this one and one half day conference, from 15th - 16th April 2016, was an introduction of international family law concepts and practice areas including leading lawyers from jurisdictions in the United Kingdom, Europe and South America. Sooner or later if you practice family law you will be dealing with international issues. The conference is for young lawyers, not necessarily IAFL fellows, who consider themselves likely to develop an international practice and hope to one day become an IAFL fellow. Absolutely, IAFL fellows were welcome to attend.
