Avi Levy is a graduate of the UCLA School of Law and has been practicing family law exclusively since 2002. In 2011, he became certified as a family law specialist by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Levy is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the International Academy of Family Lawyers. He currently serves as President of the Board of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists, and previously served as Chair of the Family Law Executive Committee of the State Bar of California and the California Lawyers Association. In addition to chairing and presenting at numerous advanced educational seminars for family law attorneys, Mr. Levy has testified on multiple occasions before the California Assembly and California Senate Judiciary Committee regarding pending family law legislation. Mr. Levy has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers in 2006, 2008, 2010, 2011, and from 2014 through 2017, and has been designated a “Super Lawyer” annually since 2018. He has served as lead counsel in numerous family law matters, including trials and evidentiary hearings, contempt proceedings, and domestic violence restraining order proceedings. Mr. Levy has negotiated hundreds of family law stipulations, settlement agreements, and judgments, as well as numerous premarital agreements, postnuptial agreements, and other complex family law agreements.Languages Spoken: English, Hebrew
