Has been practicing Family Law exclusively since 1994. Is a Rule 114 Qualified Neutral and serves on the Early Neutral Evaluation panels for Anoka and Washington Counties, performing both Financial and Social (custody and parenting time) Early Neutral Evaluations. Is a Fellow with the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, serves on Anoka County's Early Neutral Evaluation Steering Committee, and is a member of the Board of Managers for both the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers-Minnesota Chapter, and the IAFL-USA Chapter. Has been licensed to practice law since 1987 and is a graduate of William Mitchell College of Law and received B.A. degrees from the University of Minnesota at Duluth. Has been consistently named top Woman Attorneys by Minnesota Super Lawyers since 2010. Has written articles for the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Family Law Forum and for Hennepin Lawyer Magazine.
