Kerri was admitted to practice in 2004 in New South Wales. She is an Accredited Specialist in Children’s Law and a nationally recognised Independent Children’s Lawyer. Kerri has experience as both a social worker and lawyer in both the United Kingdom and Australia. She has expertise representing children and parents in complex public and private family law matters, including parentage, adoption, child protection, relocation, child abduction and matters involving medical treatment. Kerri is the Deputy Chair of the NSW Law Society’s Children’s Legal Issues Committee and a member of the Domestic and Family Violence Steering Committee. She is also a member of the NSW Children’s Court Advisory Committee and the Children’s Court Care Working Group. Kerri frequently delivers training to lawyers and social workers on international parenting issues. Kerri is a Director and Principal of Phillips Levy Bennett Legal in Sydney, which she founded in 2025 with two colleagues.
