David Dura SC is admitted to practice as barrister in Australia and the United Kingdom focusing in Family Law, both parenting (child arrangements) and property matters (financial remedies) following the breakdown of a marriage or de facto relationship.
David was admitted as a Solicitor in NSW in 1998 after working as a Clerk in Family Law. David spent 4 ½ years practicing in a suburban Family Law firm before being called to the Bar in NSW in 2002 and joining Edmund Barton Chambers.
In 2008 David was one of the founding members of Waratah Chambers.
In 2023 David was appointed Senior Counsel in NSW and in 2025 was called to the Bar in London where he has joined Fourteen at Grays Inn.
David practice at the Bar has focused solely on family law, both locally and with international issues.
