Kristoff SIMONS is a Belgian family lawyer, mediator and managing partner at FAIRWAY – Partners in Law and Mediation. He has practised family law exclusively for more than 25 years and leads the firm’s family law and estate planning team, consisting of around eight lawyers within a multidisciplinary practice of over 25 lawyers.

Kristoff advises and represents clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, marital and cohabitation disputes, child and spousal support, parental authority, residence and contact arrangements, parentage, adoption and inheritance matters. His practice also includes family mediation, prenuptial and cohabitation agreements, and parenting plans. He regularly handles cases with an international dimension, including cross-border divorces and international child abduction.

He holds a Master of Laws from KU Leuven and a postgraduate degree in mediation and family mediation from the University of Antwerp. Kristoff lectures on mediation and conflict management and is Chairman of the Special Commission Youth and Mediation at the Belgian Federal Mediation Commission.
