Prudence Mutiso is a Kenyan human rights lawyer and Senior Legal Advisor for Africa at the Center for Reproductive Rights. She has over fourteen years’ post-admission experience in constitutional, family, and international human rights law. Her work focuses on advancing women’s and girls’ rights through strategic litigation, legal reform, and advocacy before national and regional courts and human rights bodies. She leads legal strategies on access to reproductive health care, gender equality, and protection of adolescents’ rights across several African jurisdictions. Prudence holds a Master of Laws in International Legal Studies (Human Rights) from Georgetown University Law Center and is admitted to the African Court’s roster of pro bono counsel. She is committed to expanding access to justice and strengthening the implementation of human rights standards across Africa.
