Practised as a Barrister and Solicitor since admission in 1982. Accredited as a Specialist in Family Law by the Law Institute of Victoria in 1989, when specialist accreditation first offered in this jurisdiction. Now leads a team of family lawyers and paralegals with experience acting for citizens from all countries in the Asia Pacific region, as well as the UK, and eastern and southern Africa who live in Australia, abd/or own property or have interests here.
Am a Council member of the Commonwealth Lawyers' Association, and co-chair its Family Law Committee. Am Chair of the Access to Justice Committee of the Law Council of Australia, and a former Director of the Council. Am a former chair of the Access to Justice Committee of the IBA, and serve on the Rule of Law Forum and the SPPI Council Advisory Board.
