Melissa Avery is Of Counsel with the law firm Broyles Kight & Ricafort, P.C. in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is a certified family law specialist, a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Ms. Avery has been listed as an Indiana Super Lawyer since 2005 and as one of Indiana’s Top 25 Female Lawyers since 2007 by Law and Politics Magazine. Ms. Avery served as the American Bar Association Family Law Section CLE Co-Chair from 2011 to 2014, on the Section Council from 2005 to 2014, and chaired the marital property committee from 2007 to 2010. Ms. Avery is Past Chair of the Indiana State Bar Association Family Law Section Chair and was a member of the Board of Governors from 2009 to 2011.
