Mark Arend is a Partner at McKinley Irvin, a leading family law firm in the Pacific Northwest. A former U.S. Air Force pilot and technology-sector professional, he brings a strategic and disciplined approach to complex family law matters. His practice focuses on high-conflict divorce, challenging custody disputes, and the valuation and protection of substantial assets and business interests. Mark is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and currently serves as President of the Washington Chapter. He has contributed to the profession through service on several Washington State Bar Association committees, including Ethics, Rules of Professional Conduct, and Continuing Legal Education. He is also a long-standing member of the Robert J. Bryan American Inn of Court and The Order of Barristers. A former faculty member of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, Mark has trained litigators nationwide in trial skills and courtroom advocacy.
