Dr. Mohamed Hassanein is an Egyptian lawyer and legal scholar holding a PhD in Law and serving as Vice President for North Africa of the Pan African Lawyers Union (PALU). He has extensive experience in family law, representing clients in complex matters involving divorce, child custody and care, child support, spousal support, property division, parental child abduction, and cross-border family disputes. His practice also includes mediation and arbitration, where he assists parties in achieving practical and sustainable resolutions to sensitive family conflicts. In addition to his family law practice, Dr. Hassanein advises on litigation, corporate and regulatory matters and regularly participates as a speaker at international legal forums on issues relating to judicial reform, legal cooperation, and the development of legal systems in Africa. He is committed to promoting access to justice, protecting family rights, and advancing effective dispute resolution.
