Having completed his studies in 1996, Carlo was admitted to the bar in 1997. While Carlo’s practice is primarily focused on family law, particularly matters involving international and cross-border elements, he also draws on a longstanding background in civil and property law. This breadth of experience enables him to provide clients with well-rounded legal insight and practical advice. He brings three decades of litigation experience to the firm, having previously worked with two leading law firms on the Island’s capital city, in his initial years as a lawyer.
Carlo, known for his fastidious attention to detail he brings to every case, prides himself in giving his clients an open and honest appraisal of the situation as well as clear, accurate facts about their legal rights and obligations. Despite his eye for detail, he is nevertheless able to see the overall picture enabling him to resolve cases amicably and rapidly, whilst ensuring that his client’s best interests are safeguarded. He has particular expertise in cases involving large or complex assets and those with an international dimension or proceedings in more than one country. He was involved in a number of publicized cases as well as various lawsuits involving high profile foreign clients.
