Elisabeth Bennington has distinguished herself as an aggressive litigator, focusing on all aspects of divorce, custody, support and pre-nuptial agreements. In 2015, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court appointed Ms. Bennington to the Domestic Relations Rules Committee where she served 2 terms. The Committee consists of only 7 divorce lawyers in the state and the role is to advise the Supreme Court on family law matters.
She was also elected in 2006 as a Legislator in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, where she served one term, before deciding to return to the practice of law full-time. In 2007, Ms. Bennington was appointed by the Speaker of the House to the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. She was also a former Board Member of Pittsburgh Action Against Rape.
A graduate of Chatham College, Ms. Bennington earned her J.D. from the Duquesne University School of Law.
