Mr. DeJesse is a North Carolina Board Certified Specialist in Family Law and Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (presently serving as the President-Elect of the North Carolina Chapter). Prior to practicing family law in North Carolina, Mr. DeJesse was a law partner with an AV rated family law firm in New York handling all aspects of complex matrimonial and family law litigation, including successfully arguing appeals.

Mr. DeJesse’s practice is solely dedicated to Family Law issues such as: high conflict child custody (involving forensic child custody evaluations), claims for child support, alimony and complex equitable distribution cases (involving business valuations), domestic violence protective orders, absolute divorce and the preparation of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Mr. DeJesse’s litigation practice also includes arbitrations and mediation. Mr. DeJesse has practiced family law for more than twenty-seven (27) years.
