Profile

A self-employed barrister with a specialist family law practice. In addition to taking referrals from solicitors, also authorised to undertake Direct Public Access cases. Although her practice encompasses all areas of family law disputes including divorce and the financial aspects of relationship breakdown, has a particular expertise in International Adoption and International Surrogacy and a large part of her practice is focused on these niche areas. In addition to acting for litigants, has been called upon to act as Amicus for the court, and is frequently instructed as an independent expert witness with regard to international adoption law in public law children cases in this country. Also experienced in representing and advising clients in relation to the 1980 (abduction) and the 1996 (parental responsibility) Hague Conventions and is fully conversant with Brussels II Revised.
