Called to the Singapore bar in 1979 after graduating from the University of Singapore. Appointed Senior Counsel in 1998. Admitted to the roll of solicitors of England and Wales in 2008. Acted for several high net worth clients in complex family disputes, relating to divorce, maintenance, custody and division of matrimonial assets, many of which involved cross-border issues. Extensive experience in advising clients on the preparation of agreements for settlement of ancillary claims and prenuptial/post-nuptial agreements. Conducted seminars and workshops on topics focused on family law including issues relating to trusts and wills. An accredited mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre (including its Family Panel of Mediators) as well as the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR). Served on the Family Law Practice Committee of the Law Society of Singapore.
