Carolyn Vanthienen is an attorney-at-law with an advanced master’s degree in notarial law. She specializes in national and international family law and family property law. Her practice focuses on advising and assisting clients in negotiations and litigation, particularly in matters of probate and succession, divorce, maintenance, custody, and the division of assets after divorce or death. Carolyn also provides counsel on adoption and filiation issues.
Since 2017, Carolyn has been a member of the Family Litigation Team at Tiberghien, a leading law firm with offices in Belgium, Luxemburg, Switzerland.
She is an active member of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) and is a contributor to the Chambers Global Practice Guide on Family Law, the Legal 500 Family Law Comparative Guide, and the International Legal Comparative Guide on Family Law.
