Lawrence P. Vance is an attorney who has built extensive proficiency in family law matters with over 25 years of legal experience in the field of domestic relations law. He currently is practicing at Buchbauer & McGuire, P.C., joining the firm in 2007. A Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers since 2013, Mr. Vance has contributed to the development of family law in Virginia on various study groups through the State Bar, the Virginia Family Coalition, and the Virginia Supreme Court. His international experience, beyond custodial issues, includes appearing as an expert witness in Australian Federal Courts regarding domestication of foreign divorce judgments related to American retirement plans.
