Profile
Graduated from the University of Leicester, England and called to the Bar of England and Wales as a member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in 1990 and in 1992 admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor. Since 1997, and joining Messrs Y.N. Foo & Partners where now a Partner, her main area of practice has been family law with a diverse range of cases, including cross-border disputes. Professional affiliations: Mediator accredited to the Bar Council Malaysian Mediation Centre (BCMMC); Bar Council Family Law Committee (BCFLC) and the Sub-Committee for Reform of the Divorce and Matrimonial Rules 1980; Executive Committee of Association of Women Lawyers (AWL), Advocacy Trainer Bar Council. Represented both, BCFLC and AWL at consultative talks on legislative reform with the Attorney Generals’ Office as well as the Women’s Ministry.
