Specialisms include: international child abduction (Hague and non-Hague), jurisdictional disputes, transfers of jurisdiction, international contact/residence disputes, recognition and enforcement of foreign orders, relocation (external and internal), surrogacy, adoption, public law cases, litigating for overseas public authorities in cross border cases involving the protection of children and vulnerable adults, stranded spouses, forced marriage and domestic cases concerning child arrangements. Successfully acted in many of the leading cases at all levels of the appellate courts, including in the Supreme Court. Ranked in Band 1 by Chambers & Partners, a "Leading Individual" in the Legal 500 and a "Recommended Lawyer" in the Legal 500 for Court of Protection. Co-editor of the International family law Journal for LexisNexis.
