Maneesha Mehra is Certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a Specialist in Family Law. Prior to attending law school, Maneesha completed a B.A. (Hons) in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Carleton University.
Maneesha has extensive experience in family law, having advocated on behalf of her clients at mediations, arbitrations, and all levels of court in Ontario, as well as appearing as intervener and authoring materials for several important family law cases decided by Supreme Court of Canada including Collucci v. Collucci, Mehralian v. Dunmore, and Ahluwalia v. Ahluwalia.
Maneesha's practice involves all areas of family law including parenting and financial issues, with a particular focus on financial matters that intersect with corporate, tax, estates and trust law, as well as matters dealing with the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction.
Maneesha is also a Dispute Resolution Officer at the Toronto Superior Court of Justice and provides mediation, arbitration and parenting coordination services.
