Profile
Yordanka Bekirska has extensive experience in all aspects of family law. Her legal practice is focused on domestic and international family law matters. She is the founder and managing partner of "Bekirska § Partners", a specialized international family law firm based in Bulgaria. She is a widely known lecturer at the Bulgarian Attorney’s Training Center on family matters. Yordanka is certified as a collaborative lawyer and as a mediator. She is personally appointed as expert before foreign courts on matters related to family law.
Bekirska is the President of Family Law Commission of the European Bar Federation (FBE) and sought-after speaker at national and international professional events on family law. She is a legal expert with comprehensive experience and frequent participant in working groups for legislative changes in Bulgaria.
Her Ph.D. work is focused on Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction.
