New Website January 2013
I hope that you all enjoyed the holidays with your friends and families, and that you are now rejuvenated and ready to begin the new year. As you can see, we have recently unveiled our new website. I want to thank Marlene Moses, and those on her committee for their hard work and vision in revamping our website. Special thanks go to our Executive Director, Donna Goddard, who spent hours of her time and much of her unlimited creative energy in the development of the site.

Family Law: A Global Guide
The sixth edition of Family Law, known to family law practitioners as the “Blue Book”, was published in May 2024 by Thomson Reuters in conjunction with the IAFL. It is an essential guide that enables you to make quick comparisons between 62 international jurisdictions worldwide. It includes contributions from expert international family lawyers, most of whom are Fellows of the Academy. In the words of IAFL President Rachael Kelsey One glance at this book will reveal the very significant developments in family law which have arisen over the last two years, including the impact of Brexit on a harmonised family law system across the EU. The international practice of family law is developing at a pace which is very difficult for even the most experienced of practitioners to manage. The simple, step-by-step, jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction approach adopted by this book provides a foundation upon which all family lawyers can navigate this ever-changing landscape
About
IAFL is a worldwide association of practicing lawyers who are recognized by their peers as the most experienced and skilled family law specialists in their respective countries.
